Balonmano Ciudad Encantada was established in 1989 when acquired the TNT Uniexpress's seat, a team from San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, relocating the team to Cuenca and renaming it as Madrid-Cuenca. In 1990, the team is again renamed to Sociedad Conquense until 1994 when the team changes the name again for third time, this time as Balonmano Conquense. The current name is since 1997.
